Drawings and design for FRP/GRP tanks
DrawEx produces 2D engineering drawings for vertical and horizontal tanks. DesignEx runs EN 13121-driven design calculations. Both modules are in development.
Module 01
In developmentDrawEx
2D engineering drawings for FRP/GRP tanks
DrawEx builds general arrangement drawings and their detail sheets from structured tank data, for vertical and horizontal FRP/GRP tanks. Nozzles, manholes, accessories and piping sit on the same drawing set, each issue is revisioned, and every sheet follows one layout and line-weight hierarchy.
Tank GA drawings
General arrangement drawings for vertical and horizontal FRP/GRP tanks: elevation, plan or end view, dimensions and design data on one sheet.
Nozzles and manholes
Openings placed by bearing and elevation, listed in a nozzle schedule, with typical nozzle and manhole details.
Accessories
Ladders, platforms, handrails, lifting lugs, anchor chairs and saddles, drawn and marked on the sheet.
Piping and fittings
Pipes, bends, reducers, tees, flanges and end caps, each with its own drawing and data table.
Revisioned output
Every issue of a drawing set carries a revision, and earlier revisions stay readable.
Consistent documents
Drawing sets generated from one template, with the same title block, sheet layout and line-weight hierarchy on every sheet.
DrawEx produces 2D drawings only. Its output supports engineering review and does not replace it.

| Rev | Description | Status |
|---|---|---|
| A | First issue | Superseded |
| B | Shell diameter revised | Current |
Module 02
In developmentDesignEx
EN 13121-driven design calculations
DesignEx supports EN 13121 workflows for FRP/GRP tanks: laminate thickness, wind and seismic loads, nozzle reinforcement and design reports. It is a calculation tool, not finite element analysis (FEA) and not a certification. Its output supports engineering review and does not replace it.

Thickness calculation for each tank section
Calculates required laminate thickness across shell, bottom, roof, knuckle and other sections from design inputs and material properties, using EN 13121-driven engineering logic.

Seismic and wind load calculation
Evaluates wind and seismic load effects on FRP/GRP tanks to support structural stability checks, anchoring decisions and design documentation.

Nozzle reinforcement
A focused workspace for reinforcement around nozzle openings and the local design detail that goes with it.

Design reports
Turns calculation outputs into structured, readable reports for your engineering team to review.

Design checks
EN 13121 compliant calculations: each calculated value is checked against its EN 13121 clause, and any item that fails is flagged for engineering review.
